In the fall we invite the public out to our farm to meet the alpacas and get a jump start on their Christmas shopping. We offer horse drawn sleigh rides for the children, hot chocolate and a sweet treat as you and your family experience the farm life. In addition to the alpacas we also have chickens, turkeys and Canadian horses. These visits offer great fun for the young and old. Come meet the animals which produce the luxurious fibre that we make our products from.
Midnight Sun Alpaca Farm is the Yukon’s first alpaca farm, located 48km south of Whitehorse on Cowley Lake. Owned and operated by Carolyn Campbell and Rick Diment. We are a family operation that raises Huayaca alpacas for their fibre to use in our alpaca products.
A large part of the reason we are in the alpaca business is the enjoyment we get out of the animals themselves. Our yearly farm fair gives us great opportunity to share our alpacas and other farm animals with the people who purchase our products. We raise alpacas, Canadian horses, chickens, turkeys, pigs and laying hens. We also offer alpaca breeding stock, fibre animals, alpaca shearing and boarding.
