About Us
Midnight Sun Alpaca Farm is the Yukon’s first alpaca farm, located 48km south of Whitehorse on Cowley Lake. Owned and operated by Carolyn Campbell and Rick Diment. We are a family operation that raises Huayaca alpacas for their fibre to use in our alpaca products. We strive to maintain a herd of finely fibred animals and ensure the products offered best suit the quality of the fibre. A large part of the reason we are in the alpaca business is the enjoyment we get out of the animals themselves. Our yearly farm fair gives us great opportunity to share our alpacas and other farm animals with the people who purchase our products. We raise alpacas, Canadian horses, chickens, turkeys and laying hens. We also offer alpaca breeding stock, fibre animals, alpaca shearing and boarding.
