Canadian Camelid Cooperative

The cooperative is a group of alpaca farmers which pool their fibre to have products made. This enables the co-op members to have good quality control of continual uniform and high quality items. It also enables them to have a wide variety of products to sell, acquire funding for product testing and have products made at a reasonable and sustainable cost. By pooling our fibre we are able to send larger batches to the mill to achieve more reasonable processing cost. The fibre sorting and grading at the co-op means the fibre is used for the best products suited to that grade and allows the farmers to receive the greatest value for their fibre.

All the fibre received at the co-op is processed and all products are made in Canada with only Canadian fibre.
